A production facility is a specially designed building, or part of it, the main purpose of which is to carry out various processes. Typically, such workshops install technological lines for processing raw materials, producing food, light industry, pharmaceuticals, or mechanical engineering products. The efficiency of production itself directly depends on the correct design and implementation of construction work, and therefore this issue is extremely important for entrepreneurs.
What does the construction of production facilities take into account?

The classification of production premises involves several factors that are necessarily taken into account in the construction planning process. They necessarily include basic workshops, where the enterprise's work takes place directly. These can be workshops for assembly, baking of bakery products, metal casting, etc. In addition, auxiliary premises and service rooms are necessarily planned. In the first case, they have the form of workshops, warehouses, laboratories, and staff quarters. Service rooms are dressing rooms, first-aid stations, sanitary and rest rooms.
The main tasks that the designer should pay attention to in the process are the following:
- creation of optimal conditions for production - emphasis is placed on logistics, correct zoning, placement of equipment in the future;
- personnel safety in the work area - compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, installation of ventilation, security, alarm, fire extinguishing systems, arrangement of emergency exits;
- connection and integration of engineering communications - arrangement of the power grid, sewage and water supply, heating system, development of energy saving options and production automation;
- technological flexibility - use of frame structures for the potential for future reconfiguration, laying the foundation with the possibility of possible expansion of production;
- energy efficiency and saving on maintenance costs - attention is paid to thermal insulation of walls, installation of economical lighting and ventilation system.
When creating a project, it is also important to coordinate it with regulatory authorities in order to avoid unforeseen situations in the future.
How does the construction of a turnkey production workshop work and how much does it cost?

Planning the main stages of construction has the following form:
- Preparation - analysis of the needs of the enterprise, calculation of the area, determination of the purpose of the premises - for example, a warehouse, workshop, workshop, etc. A land plot is also selected and the permit documentation is drawn up.
- Design - architectural and construction work, planning of engineering networks, verification of compliance with standards are provided.
- Laying the foundation - the site is prepared, temporary entrances are arranged, the foundation is installed. It can be spliced, slab or strip.
- Erection of the base frame - columns, girders, trusses are installed, the structures are checked for geometry and strength. Most often, metal structures are used as the main material, which ensures quick construction. Next, the roof, insulation, and drainage system are mounted.
- Construction of walls - aerated concrete or sandwich panels are used for cladding, as well as corrugated board or brick. Sound insulation is arranged, doors, windows, and gates are installed.
- Installation of engineering systems - electricity, water, sewage are laid. Heating and ventilation systems, fire safety, security, video surveillance are installed.
- Interior decoration - walls and ceiling are sheathed, concrete floor is polished, tiles are laid if necessary. After that, furniture and equipment are installed. In the territory near the building, everything is also put in order - paths are laid, parking lots are arranged, landscaping is carried out.
The final stage - test work and handover of the object to the customer.
Construction cost

The cost of building a production facility is influenced by several factors. The approximate cost for modular structures is from $300 per 1 m2. The final price usually depends on the area of the building, the features of the project itself, the number of windows, doors and entrances, as well as the type of materials used.
The total amount is calculated based on the estimate and is specified in the contract, not changing until the facility is completed.
