The hot summer in Ukraine is increasingly prompting people to think about building their own swimming pool for relaxing at home. However, the construction process itself is quite complicated, and there is no way to cope with it on your own. Special attention is paid to the preparation of permits, proper planning and compliance with all construction standards.

When planning the installation of an artificial reservoir, it is worth distinguishing their varieties and taking into account the specifics of the construction process. The legal status of the building should not be ignored. For this, it is advisable to consider the main types of pools:

Ground-based

These structures are installed directly on the soil surface without excavation. This format most often does not require a building permit, but it is necessary to comply with certain conditions. For example, the volume of the reservoir should not exceed 10 cubic meters, and the height of its structure should not be more than 1.8 m. The advantage of such structures is the absence of the need to build a foundation.

Stationary

Such buildings are considered capital, for the construction of which it is necessary to carry out excavation work and equip the foundation. It is also necessary to obtain permits for the construction of a stationary pool. For a reservoir with an area of ​​​​less than 15 square meters, a construction passport will be sufficient, for an area of ​​​​from 50 to 300 m, project development and a permit for construction work are required. Facilities over 300 square meters require a full cycle of design and approval.

Another important factor, in addition to permits, is the choice of a place for the pool. This takes into account the type of soil, groundwater level and the degree of sunlight. It is advisable to pay attention to the infrastructure and the ability of the pool to harmoniously fit into the landscape design.

Designing a facility requires the creation of a technical plan. At this stage, all necessary permits and approvals with local authorities are also obtained. The long-term reliability and safety of the facility are certainly taken into account during design.

How much does it cost to build a turnkey swimming pool: pricing and main stages

The format of the turnkey construction service is extremely convenient and appropriate for this type of facility. Construction companies that provide services of this plan most often offer a phased implementation, namely:

• Preparatory work. At this stage, the territory is marked out and excavation work is carried out. The formation of the pit must be as accurate as possible in order to avoid errors in the shape and location of the future pool. At the same time, it is important to comply with all technological norms and standards.
• Arrangement of the base. It is the foundation of the pool, a kind of terrace. This stage involves laying a drainage system, creating a sand cushion and performing reinforcement, after which concrete is poured. Great attention is paid to the emphasis on strength, because the finished base must withstand a large load of water.
• Installation of the bottom and walls. During the work, the selected material is used in accordance with the wishes and requirements of the customer. Usually the bowl is built from concrete mortar with moisture-resistant and frost-resistant properties. Ceramic tiles, PVC film, mosaic or other materials can be used for cladding.
• Waterproofing works. This is no less important stage than installing the base. The purpose of waterproofing is to prevent water leakage during operation. The service life of the pool and the features of its care depend on the quality of the selected materials. PVC film, membrane materials or foam spraying are most often used for waterproofing.
• Finishing works. At this stage, stairs, railings and other accessories are installed, which are planned in the estimate. They provide not only the aesthetics of the general appearance, but also increased functionality and safety of the object.
• After construction is completed, filtration systems, water heating equipment, a pump, a cleaning system, an overflow are installed. Lighting is also installed, taking into account all safety standards for the user.
